How to Make an Inside-Out Cheeseburger

If you have not tried an Inside-Out Cheeseburger you are really missing out on a cheesy yummy burger. The cheese is stuffed between two thin meat patties. Why put the cheese on the outside of meat and part of it melts off, instead form the meat around the cheese. May is national Cheeseburger Month, celebrate it in style with an Inside-Out Cheeseburger!

Ingredients needed for Inside-Out Cheeseburger:
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Directions for making Inside-Out Cheeseburger:
Step 1: Combine cheeses in a small bowl.
Step 2: Mix beef, Worcestershire, paprika and pepper in a large bowl.
Step 3: Shape into 8 thin patties.
Step 4: Mound 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture on each of 4 patties, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
Step 5: Cover each with one of the remaining patties.
Step 6: Crimp and seal the edges closed.
Step 7: To grill, lightly oil the grill rack.
Step 8: Grill the stuffed patties over medium-high heat, about 4 minutes per side for medium-well.
Step 9: Be careful not to press the burgers as they cook or they’ll split open and the cheese will ooze out.
Step 10: To broil, cover a broiler pan with foil and coat with cooking spray.
Step 11: Broil the stuffed patties for about 4 minutes per side for medium-well.

Tips:
You may use the cheese of your choice.
Cook longer for a well done burger

Inside burgers are great. Plus the cheese won't stick to the pan as well that way.
